Hi ho, Hi ho, it's off to work I go...

I've been super busy. I started a new job on the 1st and it's been more than 40 hours a week ever since! My house is a mess and the only other things I think about are my son, pool, and making beads and jewelry. Well, this weekend I might make beads because I need that balance in my life (and I owe a few Buddhas!)

In the mean time, I have entered my first contest! I did a collaborative project with Olga Vinnere Pettersson who made 4 gorgeous necklaces, two with my beads in them.

Unfortunately those collaborative pieces didn't make the finals, but one of Olga's made it.

I WANT YOU!!!!! Please go vote for my favorite necklace of Ogla's.

You can see why I love it, it literally represents fire, and just looking at it, it is unmistakably lava at it's finest! Perfect for the geologist/lampworker in me! Here's the link, so go vote for Gaia!

After you vote, click on the link at the top of the page to look at the amazing entries at My Lovely Beads (Thank you Zoya Gutina!)

New Beads!

I just spent the first "normal" weekend I've had in a long time. My gorgeous son graduated 8th grade; we hung out, ate lots of good and junky food, and watched several movies.

Tomorrow I go to work, like normal people do, which is a blessing! Remember when I send a message to the Universe? It worked! So, just a short note because a lot of today's time was spent processing photos of these beads that I'll be listing soon. If you are interested in any of them, send me an email offer.
