I've been super busy. I started a new job on the 1st and it's been more than 40 hours a week ever since! My house is a mess and the only other things I think about are my son, pool, and making beads and jewelry. Well, this weekend I might make beads because I need that balance in my life (and I owe a few Buddhas!)
In the mean time, I have entered my first contest! I did a collaborative project with Olga Vinnere Pettersson who made 4 gorgeous necklaces, two with my beads in them.
Unfortunately those collaborative pieces didn't make the finals, but one of Olga's made it.

You can see why I love it, it literally represents fire, and just looking at it, it is unmistakably lava at it's finest! Perfect for the geologist/lampworker in me! Here's the link, so go vote for Gaia!
